There is a really amazing juxtaposition with the Bassitone between the familiarity and playability right out of the gate, and yet it's unique and innovative design are such that I feel like the potential for exploration and inventiveness is limitless. I absolutely love this instrument!

The Bassitone 7 string is a hybrid Bass/Baritone guitar, but with just the lowest four guitar strings, adding more bass strings below to satisfy the needs of us low-enders. It was designed to give the player the option to play traditional bass lines, chords, arpeggios, or all of the above comfortably and fluidly. It differs from an extended range bass in the progressive spacing of the strings. The higher four strings are spaced closer like a guitar, while the three bass strings are spaced at familiar bass string spacing. This means you can get in there plucking, slapping, picking, or whatever your preferred method is, and then you can grab a chord, strum, or keep on plucking your way up into the upper register. The 32″/30″ multi scale makes chords easy to play, and the unique body design is comfortable sitting down or standing up.
